A number of you guys really took to the last Grab Your Cards installment where I picked my top sales picks from premier menswear e-retailer, Mr Porter. I've just had a tip that they've gone sale mad and I'm here, once again, to deliver to you my top picks. As with before I'll categorise them so you can easily find exactly what you're looking for, but make sure you're quick because at these prices a lot of the stuff might be gone or going really quickly. Once again I've categorised my picks into outerwear, shirting, trousers, accessories and footwear
*Side note: I would love to make it all fancy but my computer screen has packed in (almost) and I can't use Photoshop. Maybe when I get it working I'll spruce this post up.
Peep my picks after the jump
Outerwear
Aspesi Swing Bomber Jacket: £240 Now £120. M, L, XL, XXL. Aspesi continues to slay my life, it maybe a simple bomber but coming from them you're sure to have this for a long long time, very wearable and versatile. |
ACNE Camouflage jacket: £550 £275. M, L, XL, XXL. Acne join the camouflage game with their own unique spin, resembling an almost floral print they infused safari detailing in the front pockets and a detachable hood for those oh so rare sunny British days. |
Here I've included two jackets in my favourite colour of the season. The one above is from Levi's Made and Crafted, made from cotton twill and washed for that lived in feel. The one below is in a slightly more subdued shade of yellow and comes from upper market iteration of Jack Wills, Aubin & Wills. A fisherman's style as opposed to the parka style of the Levi's jacket it features authentic fastening and internal pockets.
Beams+ Casco bay bomber jacket: £295 £147.50. S, M, L, XL. If you ever wanted a piece of the illustrious Beams+ legacy this is the time to get it. The Japanese have a ridiculous knack for taking anything classic and making it new again, shaming all others in the process. They take the classic American bomber and construct it using a lightweight twill to ensure you stay cool during the more balmy days. Not to forget the fact it's crease resistant. Those Japanese, eh? |
Shirts
As you're probably all aware prints and pattern are everywhere and my picks are basically all print, I mean why would you want to go out in something plain?
Burberry Prorsum bring some tribal teas to the table. Above is a print that would make the guys over at Street Etiquette's mouths water. Below Christopher Bailey and his team use ikat for inspiration to create a unique print that conjure up images of old carpets and evil eyes.
Hartford Liberty print shirt: £165 £67.50. S, M, L, XXL. As I mentioned before I don't know why you'd wear block colour when there are shirts like this out there. Hartford pick a Liberty print that adds great panache and can add pop to an outfit. |
Woolrich Woolen Mills washed cotton shirt: £165 £82.50. S, L, XXL. African inspired prints are everywhere, and this WWM shirt is no different. Designer Mark McNairy has also translated this inspiration over into his New Amsterdam collection. |
Gitman Vintage nautical print shirt: £145 £72.50. S, L, XL. With inspiration from the New England shores Gitman have selected this interesting print that from far away doesn't look particularly nautical but upon closer inspection you'll see small details like achors and ship wheels. |
Now, let me say this. If I could wear Gitman Vintage shirts exclusively for the rest of my life I would. Somehow they continue to surprise and entice me with every release they do. Their prints are selected from their archives and whilst they are quite loud they're also surprisingly wearable.
Beams+ Plaid Linen shirt. £145 £72.49. L, XL. Another Beams+ piece with a pattern usually seen in flannel shirts, the linen should keep you cool even when the thought of ironing the shirt makes you seethe. |
Red Ear Jazz man shirt: £120 £60. XL only. This may be my favourite shirt of them all, too bad it's so limited. This print is probably the most unique I've seen being a sassy jazz man and all. Constructed from 100% it has turn up cuffs and a regular cut. |
Shorts
Maison Kitsuné Washed Cotton-Twill Shorts: £210 £105. 30, 33. A staple style that you'll reach for year after year, this clean-cut light beige pair will inject your look with the Parisian label's effortless sensibility |
Red Ear Cotton-Twill shorts. £120 £60. 36 only. Let the rich dark-brown hue of these shorts from Paul Smith's line Red Ear lend an understated accent to your summer outfits. Red Ear line the shorts with the same awesome jazz man print. This item is large to size. To achieve the fit shown here, take the next size down |
Woolrich overdyed slim-fit cotton shorts: £90 £45. 36, 38. A nod to its American workwear heritage with these hardy cotton shorts. The overdyed navy fabric has been specially treated to achieve a worn-in finish for a look that is understatedly rugged. |
Trousers
Etro Slim fit jeans: £270 £189. 34, 36, 40. Paisley is intrinsic to Etro's rich aesthetic heritage and the internal print in these sage slim-fit cotton-blend jeans takes them from well-cut staple to stylish weekend essential |
Nudie Jeans Grim Tim Dry Selvedge jeans: £120 £60. 34W 32L, 38W 32L, 33W 34L, 34W 34L, 36W 34L. Nudie Jeans is known for its use of fine fabrics, and this pair of jeans is cut from Japanese-made white selvedge denim for superb comfort and durability. |
rag & bone Slim-fit Linen chinos: £225 £112.50 36 and 38 only. Expertly tailored and pleasantly lightweight, the simplicity of this slim-fit pair ensures its versatility in your wardrobe. |

Footwear
